Tax Administration Systems

The key functions of tax administration systems are accumulation and management of large information flows. This system formalizes the communication procedures between tax administrators and tax payers, i.e. information collection and provision. Automatic tax estimate is implemented in the system.

One of the first projects of JSC „NRD“ (besides mortgage registers development project in 1998) is the excise information system development project which commenced in 2002 and is still ongoing.

Lithuania’s membership in EU, integration to EU tax administration system, new editions of legislation or amendments ensures the necessity of supporting system functionalities and undertaking of immediate activities upon changeover in the tax administration.
